Malaysiakini CEO Premesh Chandran defended the news portals decision not to apologise to Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak over comments by the portals readers as they were fair. He told an audience at a Social Media Day celebration in Kuala Lumpur, that Malaysiakini would have apologised if they were in the wrong, like they did with an erroneous article published when Najib first became Umno President.
