Malelane Mill A-CENTRIFUGAL OPERATOR A vacancy for an A-Centrifugal Operator exists in the Raw House Department at Malelane Mill Division The primary purpose of this position is to monitor, control and operate A-Centrifugals and brown sugar production. The successful candidate will also be expected to carry out, amongst others, the following duties: Monitor loading, obtain maximum throughput and maintain sugar quality. Open chokes when sugar is not flowing to Centrifugals Optimise Molasses brix and purity, monitor screen conditions and report defective screens. To ensure correct operations of brown sugar production. Perform tasks delegated by the Shift Supervisor. Adhere to basic safety rules and regulations at all times Area of responsibility to be clean at all times. REQUIREMENTS: · Knowledge of clarification, pump and tank, filter press and rota-filter operations will be an added advantage Ability to read, write and communicate in English is essential. · Should be prepared to work shifts and overtime.
