Man, I must say I got to love this Medical Doctor. I didnt know what to say. In Washington, D.C. where the list of livelihood opportunities is virtually endless, I feel on top of the world here. The glimpses of sign-language are everywhere in the streets I bumped into somebody on DC bus I knew from 10 years ago. Not to also mention the high-performance interpreters are always readily available everywhere, from meetings to meetings in each Federal government building in the Nation Capital Region, typically at least a deaf person must be in there. However, Charlotte School of Law required a proof of physical disability documentation for request of Reasonable Accommodation. Heres what he wrote: 1-Primary Diagnosis: Deaf. 2-Does this disorder substantially limit the student: Yes. 3-List major life activities that are limited: Hearing, communication, and telephone. 4-What is the expected duration of condition: Life. 5-Identify how this diagnosis may affect this student in an academic environment: Will need accommodation. Then he signed off and disappeared. I feel like a James Camerons Avatar here in Washington, D.C. I hope to stay asleep because its a wonderful world here.
