Man charged over alleged possession of child abuse material near Taree Issued at 12.50pm, Tuesday 15 October 2013 A man has been charged with the alleged possession of child abuse material after police conducted a search at a house near Taree yesterday. About 11.45am, Monday 14 October 2013, detectives from Manning-Great Lakes Local Area Command attended a house in Coolongolook, about 40km south of Taree. Police allegedly located a child abuse material on DVDs. A 64-year-old man was arrested at the house and taken to Taree Police Station where he was charged with possess child abuse material. He was refused bail to appear in Taree Local Court today (Tuesday 15 October 2013).
