Man charged with growing pot in Plymouth apartment A Plymouth man was arrested early Monday morning after police said they found marijuana growing in his apartment. Plymouth police were initially dispatched to 602 Ackley St. at about 1:40 a.m. for a domestic disturbance. A witness claimed he could hear a woman screaming that she was being choked, police said. When they arrived, officers found a woman crying hysterically on the floor, while Joseph Kosloski, 60, stood over her. Police said they observed blood stains on Kosloski’s coat and detained him for further questioning. Police said the woman, Kristen McAndrew, said Kosloski began arguing with her after she requested a ride. Officers followed McAndrew upstairs, where they observed blood smears on the walls and decided to do a protective sweep of the area, police said. In one of the bedrooms, they found nine potted marijuana plants, three florescent lights, soil, plant food and a bucket full of various planting products, police said. Kosloski was taken into custody and the items found in the bedroom were seized as evidence. Kosloski was charged with nine counts of use/possession of drug paraphernalia, nine counts of possession of a drug and manufacture, delivery or possession with intent to manufacture or deliver. A hearing has been set for Feb. 4 before Magisterial District Judge Donald L. Whittaker.
