Man is directed either by his mind or His Conscience. Most people often choose the mind, lured by the temptations it offers and suppress the guidance of the Conscience. The Conscience releases warning energy signs - which the being interprets as guilt. But many people steeped in wrong, simply bury the signs and follow their minds and whims. The Conscience, which dreads seeing the being continuously follow the wrong path eventually becomes miserable and numbs itself out and goes to sleep. When you look at someone evil doing many wrongs and wonder Does He have no Conscience?, the feeling is right because the Conscience in the person is inactive. The Conscience is like a defence system of a Fort.. With the defence system down, your soul is open to every kind of attack, the effects of which may last several lifetimes. Remember this - the earth is a school. Here you can learn things much faster and progress higher, specially if you are blessed with a human body. Once you leave the earth, progress becomes very difficult. In the spirit world your progress is very very slow. If man saw his life from our perspective, he would be horrified at the opportunities that he is letting go by and in living an erroneous life for earthly joys which are nothing but dust. Mans greatest ally is his Conscience, a light of his soul, whose only purpose is to guard and guide you towards your highest. So think hard and bless yourself by making use of this opportunity called life. Even if you have lived a wrong life, it is never too late to change.. reawaken your Conscience by your sincere repentance. You need not confess to a priest, confess to the Self within and it will come to your aid again. : The Laws of the Spirit world.
