I am amazed at how many people want to get into the music business but think its all about Youtube, FB, twitter and Soundcloud or even that scam site ReverbNation... Yes, those are tools to promote with (and to make a mark with them you have to spend BIG money), but if you aint got your own geographical spot carved out in your neighborhood, city, state or country, the online presence doesnt mean much... Especially in this day of BOUGHT followers, BOUGHT YT views and BOUGHT comments, this music grind takes so much more than online marketing... Think of it as running for a public office... You gotta get your platform on point (song/video/album & image), get your budget together (money), put marketing in place (street team & online) and THEN you gotta get out there and shake hands, kiss babies and politic with the people. Then after all that is in place and moving, you still might not win that first election!!!! But if you believe in yourself and you grind harder with each campaign youll find those wins... The key is to know what your goal is, how you can achieve it and by surrounding yourself with like minded people... #Industry101 #4word #hustle
