Musicians/Singers, dont miss your BIG blessing trying to play/sing for a BIG church or BIG artist... My truth: 1. I met my FINE wife at a very small church in a very small town (you looking for the dimes in the wrong places fellas)...look at my wifes pics for proof (Im just saying!!!)... 2. All because one afternoon, I stopped by a small church in Atlanta and met some amazing singers - long story short, I bumped into the right people at the right time - I ultimately had the opportunity to play at World Changers many times and played for several major artist...thanks Mike McLymore and Vernon Messam (btw, some of the best singers and musicians are in the smallest churches in the world)... 3. In 2007, I had a very small apartment, and was forced to moved my keyboard/music equipment into the laundry room, because of my complaining neighbors downstairs... Turns out, it had the perfect lighting for my first YouTube videos...(Some amazing albums have been done in the smallest bathrooms - then some will lie and say that they went into a million dollar studio) 4. The list goes on and on...but I will say that I knew several blessings were hidden in producing one of my best friends albums FOR FREE (Montrell McClendon)...it was my first time in real production, but because of it, I learned how to effectively use several different DAWs in the process!!! My point, dont chase big dreams and miss your ULTIMATE BIG BLESSINGS!!! #theBIGisSOMETIMEShiddenINsmallPLACES
