Man punches, chokes pregnant woman A Kenosha man was taken into custody on Sunday after he allegedly struck and choked a pregnant woman. Al R. Matta, allegedly choked the victim at a residence in the 5200 block of 45th Street around 4:15 p.m. Sunday, according to Kenosha police reports. Matta then punched the woman, who is five months pregnant, multiple times in the face. She had minor swelling on her face and scratches on her forearm but refused medical attention, reports said. Matta was arrested for disorderly conduct, battery and strangulation/suffocation.
