O-Sensei always said that aikido - a martial art for the world for all people. And when I was young I did not really understand what these words mean. So I sometimes fight and did other things like that. However having been occupied aikido long time I gradually began to realize how wonderful it is a martial art and the more I studied the more I realized the splendor of Aikido. Moreover aikido is quite different from sports that are now practiced at the Olympic Games and other events as well as other martial arts.
