This was a global trip of a different kind - to try stay with friends wherever I could. No, not really to save money - though a little of that did happen - but I was bored of staying at hotels. And felt like catching up with the long-lost pal brigade. So off went Agni Murthy and I, to London and New York and Boston and San Francisco and Chicago and Amsterdam and Liverpool and London again and the Canary Islands and Dubai. Staying with classmates and friends everywhere except Chicago (where the airline put us up) and the Canary Islands which was a pre-organised retreat. To the friends I stayed with: Vineet Vijayraj Thapar and Raju Dantuluri and Gautam Sinha and Pooja Palan and Sundar Srinivasan and Ramesh Murthy and their families - thank you folks! You made the month that went by so much more interesting. To all of you - you must try this out - your own version of the global pile-on trip. Its travel of a very different kind!
