Man, too soon! RIP Bobby Womack, so underrated and one of my all time favorites. Th Poet! He wrote Its All Over Now that the rolling stones went on to record and have their first #1 hit with, and it goes on from there. He made a ton of good records and played on/wrote/recorded many more. Bobby spanned the gamut from soul to rock to funk to country to jazz (check out his record with Gabor Szabo if you like jazz guitar) to psychedelia and did it all with a ton of heart, whether or not he was always hitting the mark. Love and sympathy for Bobby and his family.
