Manager-Business Intelligence Location: United Arab Emirates Job Description: Job Purpose: •Working with CFO and Head of Finance, the role will play an integral part in providing insight into performance and communicating its results to Board / Executive Management. Primary focus will be on providing insight into business unit performance (both on a segmental / product basis), tracking performance against KPIs (internal / external), developing mechanisms / tools to measure / report customer profitability / market penetration and providing customer analytics to BU’s on a regular and ad hoc basis. •The jobholder will be expected to further develop the finance unit’s business intelligence capabilities with a specific emphasis on providing market / competitive information. •In addition, Manager – Business Intelligence will be responsible for effectively managing the CAPEX budgets for the bank, tracking spend and understanding variances to plan. To complete these responsibilities the jobholder will have 1 direct report. Job Accountabilities: •Management of month end Board / Management Reporting cycle •Preparation of monthly board / management •Monitor / highlight performance against budgets & forecasts, explaining variances to BUs / Finance •Participate and actively support forecasting, budgeting and planning cycles •Establish / develop improved systems and processes to monitor / track segmental & product performance •Develop / embed senior management objective of establishing fit-for-purpose Business Intelligence unit Desired Profile: •Working to and meeting deadlines with high standard output essential as financial reports / management information presented to senior management •Self motivated individual who is able to see the “big picture” and assess options for continuous improvement / development of team performance / internal processes •Problem solving & Innovation skills •Client relationships/ Interpersonal skills •Planning & Organizing skills •Customer focused •Analytical but practical translation of data sources •Strong communication skills •Ability to articulate the message in both written & verbal forms
