Manchester City Council – You give it all that, about supporting LGBT rights and “supporting” Manchester Pride …… then practice what you preach, not only are you still twinned with St. Petersburg, Russia. You continue to do business with Russia! If you don’t sever links with Russia – then we can only presume, that, the LGBT community, nationwide & globally, are just a convenient way of making money for your city, and gay venues c/o the Pink Pound? If Pride is funded by the council it will have our Brothers & Sisters blood on its hands. If this upsets LGBT people or Pride officials, that is unfortunate, however, I am more concerned about people with NO voice, and would risk their lives posting this status, esp. Russian LGBT!
