Mangalitsa Pigs??? You may or may not of heard of this particular breed of pig, but you may be interested to know that across the pond in the United States it is fast becoming the meat of choice in some of the trendiest restaurants around. Its fat is far more unsaturated than other pig breeds, and the taste is unlike any other. It is still difficult to source, and for the most, is only available in speciality stores. However here at Stepney Hill Farm we have been nurturing Mangalitsa Pigs for some time now and are thrilled to announce that this truly succulent and mouth watering pork is now available from our Butchery.
