Manhattan ACC Hi Kill ! Yellow lab alert ( A1010697 ) A volunteer writes ~ Belle…such a simple name and so perfect for a grand damsel….Belle, owned since age 3 months, was surrendered into our care as her family had no time for a pet anymore. She has been beautifully cared for and likely loved. Belle came with her own toys….She lived with children with whom she cuddled and wrestled. She would be house trained and loves other dogs, big and small. She would learn quickly and have no handling issues or ill habits. I fell in awe when I spotted Belle in her kennel, all dressed up in a spotless strawberry blonde robe. I love her manicured nails that look like little latte beads. Her right eye was pussy but what a beauty ! The perfect weight ! Such an elegance and grace ! Belle is acting very shy with me . Her owner says that she is quite outgoing. I clearly do not have the real Belle in front of me…She pulls a little and is very hand shy when I caress her . She eliminates right away as we enter the yard and enjoys my treats. She even stole a few from my goodies bag….As time goes by, Belle gets used to me, comes when I call her and even sits upon order or for treats. She lays down by my side once her belly is content…She does not mind at all other dogs pushing their nose though our gate. Who does not like a Lab ? Belle is a gorgeous representative of the breed and seems to be quite a good girl, great with kids and cool with other dogs…Well, why do not you come and meet her? She is a star, a gem we have at the Manhattan Care Center.
