Manna Dey You were a true vicarious friend and a voice of reasons, passions, insights and joy. Your magical lilt would greet me in the morning and at times put me to sleep as I dozed off in the middle of one of your songs. I know you worked with very talented directors and producers but your soft voice of compassion and reason touched my heart every time. In many ways than what can be captured here, your music helped me grow into who I am today. We never met but I am sure some day we will. You were a selfless friend indeed.
