Mans best friend. What is a mans best friend? Well my definition of a mans best friend is simple. Pretty much a dog who sticks with you at any cost and situation. My dog Crystal was a good example. I got her when i was in middle school having a trouble time meeting new people. Then i got her and things changed. I know this sounds crazy but she helped me gained confidence in myself. And look at me now, I am a really different person than who I was back then. Shy, quiet, no friends, etc. A mans best friend loves you even more then themselves. Regardless if you are mad at them, screaming, disciplining them. They yet still come to you loving you more and more. My dog was one. I can name countless stories when I get really upset with her and she slowly walks to me with her doggy eyes showing me that she still loves me. Also, they say a dogs life is really short because the reason they were made was to teach us how loving someone so much can be shown. Well now I cant see it anymore. Crystal had to be put down today due to a very severe illness. It was one of the hardest things to go through in my life. Seeing my best friend whom I had so much memorable moments with. The part that got me the most was that before she got injected she attempted to jump on my lap off the counter and somehow manged to do so and seemed to tell me she was fine and wanted to go home. Then when she got injected she was wagging her tail and slowly i watched her go to rest. She really was mans best friend. R.i.p Crystal.
