2014 REGIONAL REPRESENTATIVE CHALLENGE COMPETITION 2014 ANNOUNCEMENTS Regional Representative Challenge Series ReviewThe 2014 Regional Representative Challenge Series has come to an exciting end. This year was one of spectacular skill and talent from both the Northern and South side athletes throughout greater Auckland, the future of rugby league is looking good for the years to come. The Auckland Rugby League would like to thank all the volunteers – team staff coaches, managers, trainers, the match officials and most importantly the friends and parents of all the young boys involved who put their hands up and turned out each week over the last 2 months to assist. Representative Series Results: Under 12/13 Restricted Game 1: 12 – 6 North Game 2: 12 – 4 North Under 14/15 Restricted Game 1: 30 – 0 South Game 2: 10 – 10 Draw Game 3: 6 – 2 South Under 13 Open Game 1: 24 – 8 South Game 2: 20 – 6 South Under 14 Open Game 1: 22 – 12 South Game 2: 24 – 10 North Game 3: 10 – 8 South Merit Team Selections: Congratulations to the following athletes for making the 2014 Regional Series Merit Teams. Selectors have been actively selecting throughout the three game series and collated picks. These players will also be invited to attend the 2014 Summer JETS Elite Training Camp in November. More information will be disclosed closer to date.
