Dear UWSA Executive, My name is __________ and I am an engineering student at the University of Windsor. On February 19, 2014, Omar Shahid, Vice President Finance and Operations of the UWSA removed EngSocs access to their accounts and student money. The Engineering Societys Board of Directors composed an email to those at the UWSA yet there has been no response as to what power was used to freeze the account, nor has the UWSA stated when we will get access to them. Without access to it, events like Formal, EngHockey, and Iron Ring may not occur. This type of action is OUTRAGEOUS as I pay my fees yet someone who is not in the engineering program can decide whether a society has their funds without discussing with the other UWSA executives? I would like to lodge a formal complaint and I would like immediate action for the retrieval of our Societys funds. I look forward to your response as many students in the Engineering Faculty feel this same way.
