Manta Queen 2 Trip 162 Setting off from the pier on our 3 day, 3 night trip we had calm blue water and a very enthusiastic bunch of guests. The first day didnt disappoint with groups spotting a Maldivian Sponge Snail at West Ridge, lots of scorpion fish, octopus and jellyfish, to name a few. Everybody enjoyed the challenge of diving The Dome and were rewarded with a sighting of the resident great barracuda as well as big schools of chevron barracuda. Richelieu was still rockin with awesome visibility and many cuttlefish enjoying a close cuddle.... We were entertained by huge schools of snappers, fusiliers, trevallies and tunas. Pure eye candy for the divers! The evenings entertainment included beer oclock and a lot of fun games courtesy of Team China. Honeycomb Morays, porcupine fish, batfish and a myriad of nudibranches were the order of the day at Boonsung. Well fed and content, sadly, with mixed emotions we say goodbye to our new found friends from all over the world.
