Manu is like so many other dogs that are surrendered to the Brooklyn ACC. A tan pit-bull about 2 years old. BUT HE IS SO MUCH MORE... Manu is starved for food and starved for love. He is such a good boy that has not been treated well. You can see from his photos the Manu is Very skinny. At first you might think that Manu has been on the streets for a while struggling to eat... But his long nails tell a more sinister tale. Stray dogs do not have long nails. Manu lived in a home where he was rarely walked and rarely fed. How long was Manu kept in this condition??? We have no way to tell. Perhaps he has only known this neglected life. What we do know is that Manu continues to be friendly and hopeful. When Manu entered the ACC he was happy for the simplest of human contact. A beautiful dog that has lived too long without love... Tonight his story will take a fatal turn. Either Manu will walk thru the front door with a savior that will lead him to the life he has always deserved, OR... He will be killed and tossed in a trash bag without a second thought. We have the opportunity to help change the future for this good dog. Manu is counting on us tonight to help him survive or tomorrow he dies.
