Many Point...home stretch. The boys continue to be positive and motivated. The Wilderness Survival boys fared just fine all night outside in their shelter (see below shot), as a troop today we sailed on clear blue water on a beautiful day, the only tip overs were ahem - intentional. :) We did two service projects - first we dug out and rebuilt three long benches around our campfire and in the below shot - they cleared out the brush and overgrown weeds from the old boathouse. 7 boys spent the day shooting everything from muzzle loaders to addel laddels (sp?) to blow darts. Below is also a shot from the cool tree house 4 boys slept in all night. The littles are staring down a strong finish on all their badges. No one forgets their buddy anymore, the patrol system is working and they have figured out many hands make light work. 38 Scouts and zero major melt downs so far and for that we can thank great parents at home and up here helping. Every day we see these boys solidify the skills it takes to be a strong leader of integrity. And finally - I think they bought 40,000 slushies from the trading post. :)
