This situation in St. Louis is very disturbing. Peaceful protests have turned into rioting and looting the last 2 nights. This is in response to the killing of 18-year-old Michael Brown by a police officer in Ferguson, Missouri, just outside St. Louis, Saturday night. This story is, unfortunately, too familiar. White cop shoots unarmed black kid. I know we don’t have all the facts yet, but if eyewitness accounts are correct and that policeman shot that unarmed teenager while he held his hands up in surrender, then this is Trayvon Martin 2014. Rioting and looting is not the answer, but I do understand the frustration of the invisible.
