Many are reluctant to speak their mind in public for fear of being - TopicsExpress

Many are reluctant to speak their mind in public for fear of being called racists. After viewing this video I ask myself if this is a situation I seek in my home country. The answer is absolutely NO, but the situation is complicated. There is no question many European countries as well as the United States and others have granted asylum seekers and illegal immigrants a resident status or even citizenship. However, after these immigrants with different culture, religion and in general different perspectives on life have been granted access, the real problems begin for the host nations. I accept the fact that under special extreme circumstance and because of humanitarian reasons, asylum should be granted but it should be done only after a very careful consideration of each case. I wonder about the effects of this current situation and load on the Swedish economy involving, housing, education, and healthcare because of these immigrants. One can also speculate on social behavior problems, crimes and conflicts with host nationals etc. and the effects on the wellbeing of the local citizens who in some cases have to vacate their neighborhoods and are scared to enter other local areas as well or even speak their mind. Ambulances are not driven into these immigrant neighborhoods unless escorted by law enforcement who also have had to reevaluate all their tactics as well. No, this is not a situation I long for in my country no matter what. I am sure the local liberals and the mufti-culturists do not agree with me but to be honest, I really don´t care.
