Many conservatives decry, simultaneously, our governments actions, and its inactions, on the issues of immigration and welfare dependency. Many of them claim that it is not the governments responsibility to care for these people. They say that the problems should be taken care of by the generosity and donations of religious organizations. Given the crises on our southern border with thousands of children attempting to seek better lives by coming to America in an attempt to escape violence, hunger, abuse and even death - I say it is time for those critics to put up or shut up. Tossing a few paltry coins in a collection plate isnt getting the job done. I challenge them to show us how what they propose is done ... leading by example. Im waiting and watching.
