Many dont understand the emphasis on local politics. Well last night KISD voted to place on the ballot more debt which would increase KISDs total debt to $1,400,000,000...yes thats BILLION, with a B. Not only that, we have to watch our elected officials. The grassroots just elected a member to the KISD board on the premise of fiscal conservative values....she hasnt been on the board but a couple months and she is more worried about making friends on the board than standing up for fiscal sanity and voted for this incredible debt along with the other board members. Watch your local political bodies folks. The ISDs are the largest piece of your property tax bill. Keller is at the state max rate. Hold your local elected officials accountable and vote them out.
