RFESS/Bulgarian Squat are very effective in developing single leg unilateral strength and explosiveness, increasing the ability to generate power. Also RFESS takes pressure of the lower back, increase hip mobility and provides a great quad stimulus. And to be honest with you I feel it more in my GLUTES than back squats.
