Many of you have asked and text so here is the latest update on my mother. Our family so appreciates all the support and the many, many prayer chains she is on and all the prayers being uttered on her behalf. Last Friday my mom was accepted into the Littleton Adventist Hospital Rehab facility like we had all prayed for. There are only 14 beds there so we were really relieved that she got in. It is really a good facility. Then yesterday, Sunday, she spiked a fever of 102, she completely shut down, became non responsive to everything except pain and she was moved back to the hospital to Acute Care. This is where she is now and will be for the next several days at least while they try to figure out where the infection is coming from that is causing her fever. She is still on mega IV antibiotics so the fact that she has this high fever is of great concern. This also meant that she lost her spot in the Rehab Facility. We had to check out of there and check back into the hospital. Sooo thankful that the two facilities are in the same building so when mom because so sick again all they had to do was take her to a different floor. So....the vigil continues. Trying to just get mom well before we can even begin to think of her rehab and therapy. And then there is my Dad, ever by her side doing all he can, and just loving her.
