Many of you have been praying for my Daddy, Steve Cheatham. I wanted to give you all an update. For those of you who have no idea what I am talking about, I will start with a short history. In mid October, we were given the devastating news that Daddy has Leukemia. On October 21st (Daddys birthday), he was admitted to UAB and has been there since. The UAB Medical Team created a care plan and Dad started Chemotherapy. Thursday of this week, Dad has his post-chemo bone marrow biopsy. We received the results yesterday, November 8th. No cancer cells were found in the biopsy! The chemo worked! We expect Dad to be in the hospital for another couple of weeks as they build up his blood (& immunity). We hope he will be home right in time for Thanksgiving. This year will be our most thankful yet. God has blessed us beyond comprehension!!
