Many of you know me from my personal FaceBook page and had followed me along my journey since last year or even before that. My journey has included a few things like: 1: Uniting a Homeless Veteran with his Veteran son that he had never met. 2: Finding an elderly womans purse that contained over $1700. in it to then return it to her only with everything intact. 3: Discovering and Breaking the story of an organization that claims We Are Housing Americas Homeless only to have an investigative reporter from WESH News in Orlando look into the story and discover they really have no campsites as they had claimed. 4: Followed me along my journey to Pittsburgh, Pa where I traveled to in order to spend the final 30 days of my brothers life by his bedside in a Hospice then to a Nursing Home where he passed away July 14th 2014 with me there at his last breath to then close his eyes. 5: Then on to my recovery journey visit to New York City for close to 2 months as I lived on the streets there healing as I met and spoke with many Homeless in the city and spent a lot of time exploring to learn about the Homeless situation in the Big Apple. 6: I then left New York and traveled headed to Philadelphia where I stayed at a friends house for 2 nights. 7: After my Philadelphia stop it was on the road south for me with many stops along the way to document a few stories in pictures to share on my personal FaceBook page. Did I mention ALL that while being HOMELESS ? Here I find myself back in the Tampa , Florida area attempting to get myself and my mind together while finally organizing myself to Advocate for and Assist the Homeless ! I plan on getting back out and using my skills again to capture the stories of as well as interviews with those living a life of Homelessness. What I need from you, as I had been asked yesterday by someone is for you to PLEASE become active on this page , share the posts, like the posts, comment as well as INVITE others who you know that have an interest in Homelessness either by being Homeless or working with the Homeless . As I say this topic is not a competition as we all have the same goals of helping the Homeless while working toward housing the majority of the people who are living the downward spiral toward the bottom and helping those who need care to get themselves into a safer situation off the streets. Such as John Bilheimer who I met and did this video with last year while on a trip to Orlando for a weekend on the streets. This is an example of the videos I will be creating.
