Many of you might recognize Odie from an earlier posting - this is the cat who suffered a spinal injury. Hes now in foster care and spending some quality therapy time with Dr. McKelvey at Bounce Back. She sent us this video and latest update (Sues place is quickly becoming known for miracle work with paralyzed cats!): Odie spent a couple of hours with us today. He DOES look amazingly improved! We basically just let him wander around the clinic, and play with Bruce Lee. I talked with Vickie (who is wonderful) about letting him be a normal cat (hell be able to run around her house and play with her other cat), and encouraging him to stretch, jump, roll, run, etc with toys/play. I honestly think this is the best rehab for this little guy. She is going to check in with me next week and well see how hes doing. We got him in the underwater treadmill, which of course he hated, and lasered him. We can try again next week, but having full reign of a house and another kitty to play with is going to benefit him hugely.
