Many of you who have come to Burkina have at some point met Sam Zerbo. It was last year while he was out with one of our teams that he received the news that his wife had passed away suddenly and unexpectedly. A few months ago we had published that Sam needed a new moto and also funds to help keep his children in school this year. Without his wife, who also worked in a restaurant and with a baking business, it has been very hard for him financially. He does travel and cook for our well teams part of the year and then bakes and cooks for people in the off times. (one of his daughters is studying to be a doctor!) Many contributed to the funds for him to purchase a new moto, which allows him to continue his baking business, and also gave money to go toward keeping his two daughters in the University and his other children in school too. Here is a photo of Sam with the new moto he just purchased thanks to your generosity! He came by to show it to us today and could not be more appreciative and thankful to all of you who have prayed for him and also given so generously to his needs.
