Many people are asking abt EIS (engineering and industrial solutions ) ,so here I will give some info on it. All know, TCS has 3 domains as IT, ITIS and EIS. 1. 1st of all people from core branches who are in IT domain and keen to get into EIS, after trained in any IT stream also you can get an eis project.. 2. out of lakhs of employees working in TCS, only 8-9 thousands are in EIS projects.. most lucky ones i will say. CAD/ CAM/CAE/embedded design ,Industrial Automation for Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) , MES(Manufacturing Executions Solutions), SCADA systems.. 6. In ILP, under EIS so many streams are there:Embedded, NPD(new product development), MOM (manufacturing operation management), PLM (product lifecycle management), GST OR GIS(geospatial technology), IAM 7. EIS clients are across India, europe, uk, america, apac, japan,Africa.In india its most projects are in chennai ,blore ,pune ,hyd, goa 8. If you are not intimated in that way.. then getting EIS as stream is almost zero [very unlikely to get it even if u request for it or stuff like that]
