Many people believe that I dislike CR7 since I always rate Messi as the best. Before the end of last season I said Messi will never win the Ballon Odor award again and I also said him and CR7 will never win the World Cup. CR7 is a complete player with everything needed from a footballer. Messi on the other hand would just surprise you with something you didnt expect hence hes called The Little Magician by media. The Ronaldo that was in Man United is not the one who is at Madrid today. The one in England was marvel to watch and he left defenders tired because hed dribble pass them while creating space for himself or team-mates to score hence was called The King of Step-overs. The one in Madrid is mostly a beneficiary of Bale & cos creativity. Todays Ronaldos positioning is excellent and Madrids attacking style suite him very well. In the near future I see him competing with Neymar Jnr for the gong and maybe one day Neymar might compete with Bale should CR7 or Bale leave Madrid. Messis moment of greatness came in the tiki-taka era and Guardiola would not have been this successful without Messi and also Messi wouldnt have been without tiki-taka. Any team can play tiki-taka but without a player like Messi, they wont succeed in the current era now that coaches know how to park the bus. Messis era has been elevated to another level where theres nothing new expected from him. CR7 has got everything on his hands. Madrid has provided him with every tool to succeed and so far hes just been amazing. These two are great players and will remain with us for many years to come.
