Some feel that it is especially painful on vulnerable groups like the elderly. Others point out that the rail refinancing framework was meant to delay such fare hikes. I feel it is prudent to take a fairer, and more objective view on why this fare hike is necessary: What the !@#$ are you going to do? WALK?
