Many people read my posts and write to me privately/publicly. My political posts have evoked a lot of reaction recently and I am writing this to clarify some points. Accusation 1: You claim to be neutral but your posts are anti-AAP and anti-Congress and Pro-BJP. Answer: I have written at more than one place that I am more pro-BJP than I am Pro-Congress or Pro-AAP. If you believe I am completely neutral, I am sorry, you are mistaken. I dont have the time or patience to compile my statuses/comments where I have openly supported Modi or BJP but there are places where I have clearly mentioned the same. I am fact based, i.e. I dont think I have blind opinions. But I have a bias. And I am willing to change (see accusation 3 below). Accusation 2: AAP is doing good work and you dont write about that. Why? Answer: I was Pro-Kejriwal (to a large extent) before Delhi elections. I went anti-Kejriwal when he said that Batla house encounter was fake. That is the first signal that he too is doing cheap vote-bank politics. I clearly said that I may have voted for him in one of my status messages. My dejection with him is that he is fooling educated people into believing that what he is doing is all correct and all others are completely wrong. I know the bad of BJP (I have not posted much about it since I feel that there are enough to people doing that). I know the good of Congress (I have written at more than one place about the good of the congress governments, especially Narasimha Rao). I know the good of AAP also. If u read a recent status on AAP about water in Dwarka, I make three points. Congress did nothing. BJP did nothing. So people of Dwarka had an option of AAP. AAP actually stopped illegal water before giving them legal water leading to a water crisis. I praised the AAP for their intention and lambasted them for their implementation and actually supported corruption by saying water with corruption is better than no water without corruption. Most of what AAP is doing is wrong. Most of their policies are anti-economic logic and antediluvian. Free water/electricity are lollipops. Pseudo-secularism is its new shout and I am against it. . I can certainly be held guilty for not posting many pro-AAP posts. It is because I am more biased towards BJP and Modi and because of my disillusionment with AAP. It is just like any other party. Let me improve upon that in the near future. You will see a post/series of posts praising whatever good work they have done. Accusation 3: Your answer to point 1 and 2 is a lie. You are not fact completely biased, but have the dream of a BJP ruled India. Answer: I have a conversation with myself daily. I genuinely ask myself before posting pro-BJP or anti-AAP comments, Am I genuinely in favour of the best person(s) to rule India or am I in favour of one person/party? I always get the answer from my inner conscience, that it is the former. I ask myself Ankur Jain, are you open to vote for AAP or Congress or someone else if they have better policies in your perception than the BJP? I always get the same answer from my inner conscience YES. You may think that this is nautanki, and you have the right to think that, but it is not, that much I can assure you, nothing more, and nothing less. Hope this clarifies. Ankur Jain
