Birthday come and go, but I never have and never will have another birthday like I did today. 3 weeks ago, my lil Cadey Love decided to make her arrival at 33 weeks. Less than 24 hours later she was being airlifted by Pedi-flight to Le Bonheur Childrens Hospital. Me, my sister Barbara Tharp Bonnell and Debra Vance arrived at Le Bonheur about and hour and 40 minutes after my sweet Cadey Love did. Walking in her room, I was torn to pieces. My lil baby girl had so many machine and tubes attached. I knew then it would take the power of prayers to bring her and the rest of us through this trying time. Everyday, it seemed we conquered another milestone. Everytime I left that hospital, it seemed to get harder and harder leaving my Cadey Love and her mommy, Jessica Blair Strickland beind. I left there many times in tears, trying not to let Blair see it cause I knew she was already dealing with enough. 3 weeks later, I was able to finally leave Le Bonheur with both my Casdy Love and daughter Blair in hand. Being today is my birthday, no one will every be able to top this gift that LeBonheur and our Good Lord above gave me today. I know I had angels watching over Cadey Love, Blair, me and our entire family during the past 3 week. From the mouth of my grandson Kohle Etheridge. This was the best birthday present ever! Thanks for all the birthday wished today, but today can never be topped. Thanks for all the prayers the last 3 weeks. Heres proof they work. Love you all.
