Many people want to get lean; lean enough to have a flat stomach or a visible abs or what have you. Now, to become that lean, you need to reduce your total caloric intake or increase your calorie expenditure to create a calorie deficit to reduce body fat levels. However, to most people these days, it is more practical to create the calorie deficit through diet. Now, to get that level of leanness, a male has to be at least 10% body fat or 18% body fat for a female. The question is, how do you get down to this level of leanness without depriving yourself? One way of doing so is to eliminate that conventional dieting mentality that one cannot eat tasty foods while dieting down. This belief is rather obsolete and should be buried in the grave.
