Many people who espouse science, skepticism, and atheism operate on the idea that falsification leads to truth but many of those people claim that if it cant be falsified it might as well be false. Maybe Im missing something, but I dont think a conclusion can be drawn either way if the issue at hand is unfalsifiable. Religion and philosophy arent supposed to be falsifiable. They--and art, let us not forget--answer different questions in different ways than* science. You cant hold varied institutions to the rules of one and say they are false if they dont adhere to your rules. Science, art, philosophy, and religion each have their own rules. You cant force them all to conform to another. I thought we were supposed to be enlightened in the 21st Century? *edit: changed that to than
