Many people within the past two months have received bills even beyond their Basic wage. Are people just going to be working for ESCOM here in Malawi? If electricity is going to be as expensive as this then people will turn to other sources and these will degrade Natural resources so heavily. but I am sure someone is just making up the figures there and this has to stop and we need transparency. And again you are saying you are anticipating another hike, what insane. Your services are extremly poor even to charge a person. you can pay for internet and TV but electricity is off and off and you loose everything because of Escom, now how can you even raise like this? the first time I heard from an announcer on Joy Radio that he was paying $ thousand a month electricity and last month he received a Bill of 20 thousand and was disconected, I thought it was a one mistake. I di nt know you are intending to do this to everyone randomly. This is too bad.
