Many thanks to everyone who attended and helped make the Freedom Celebration a great event today. It was wonderful and a huge success. I think we probably served over 200 people! And in the process we spread the good news of Drug Court and the changes it can and is making in the lives of many in our community. It was great to see not only folk who are in Drug Court, but to see their spouses, parents, siblings and, especially, their kids and grandkids. This really brought home to me the fact that our program touches not just the lives of the men and women who are in Drug Court, but the lives of their families, as well.
