Many thanks to those that have been sharing our photos! There are SO MANY terrific animals waiting at Forsyth County Animal Control for loving, forever homes. Intake throughout the year stays very steady and often eligibility for animals going into adoption reflects those getting adopted. Yes, adopting one animal opens two cages. forsyth.cc/animalcontrol/adoption.aspx Please, PLEASE…. remember that adopting a pet is a lifelong commitment. Adoption fees at our shelter are quite minimal, especially since they include vaccines, spay or neuter, microchip, courtesy office exam. For those that can not financially afford adopting a pet - please consider volunteering. Submitting an application does not commit you to adopting a pet. Its better to change your mind prior to adopting than a knee-jerk adoption on a cuteness factor. We LOVE adoptions, but we prefer lifelong HOMES. Help us get these wonderful animals a loving home.
