Many times in life our faith is tested. Some tests we pass with little or no difficulty. But sooner or later we come face to face with something over which we have no control and our metal is tested to its limit. Many kinds of tests, but I think one of the hardest tests is when we see our children hurting or living out of the will of God. We see them make choices that have irreversible consequences, or we see them being abused or mistreated. Most dedicated parents would gladly take the heartaches their children experience, but unfortunately we cant do that. Many times our hands are tied and we can do practically nothing to help save our children from unnecessary sorrows. Most conscientious parents are like me: you can hurt me all you want to but dont hurt my child. This is why parents should begin each day calling their childrens names in prayer at the Throne of Grace. When our children leave the next and they are on their own, they need our prayers more than ever. I begin each day praying for my family. I picture them in my mind and then pray for them. This includes my wife,children, and all the grands and greats. I then call the names of those who have requested prayer. pray through several FB friends and then list too numerous to mention here. Oh! My friends. We need to pray for each other as never before. Please, please, remember my family and me in your prayers.
