Many times when tender articles are written on the web usually you find makgowa commenting about corruption of the ANC or black ppl blah blah blah. Ba re tlwaela bline. Do they actually know that most of the biggest government tenders worth billions go to local white-owned & foreign-owned (white) companies? If there is corruption there, then the politically connected black dude or consortium probably gets 20% or less. Even if the media can carry 30 stories a year of tenderpreneurs doing corruption with a combined value of R500mill (peanuts), all of that is nothing when a few white-owned construction companies do colluding for +-R26 billion or the arms deal of +-R30 billion that still today benefits foreign-owned (white) companies. How about e-tolls where ppl are screaming corruption? R6.2bn awarded to Electronic Toll Collection (ETC) to collect the e-tolls. Who owns ETC? TMT Services and Supplies (TMT) owns 35%, while Kapsch TrafficCom AG in Austria owns 25% and Kapsch TrafficCom AB in Sweden has the final 40% stake (according to the shareholding as set out on TMT’s website -Moneyweb). TMT’s (the original S.A portion of the shareholding in ETC) shareholding consists of 16.57% held by Matemeku TMT, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Moss Mashishi’s Matemeku Investments, 26.63% held by Zoey Trust, Gelaman Trust and DT Transfin Trust which are the family trusts of the three original founders of TMT in 2002 and 56.8% by KTC SA Holding. Even here the black man is only getting a small cut. I am still confused as to why makgowa are in denial that this corruption they are referring to benefits more of their race than ours. Corruption affects all of us, it must not be made a race issue as if it is the black ppl that are stealing whereby apartheid itself was the biggest form of corruption against our ppl. 《-Ke feditse.
