Many years ago, thanks to the vision of Miles Smart, and Sam Punderson, one of the most progressive back country programs in North America was launched. Miles and Sam were far ahead of the industry curve in finding ways to educate the next generation of skiers. Carrying the torch for Sam, Ian Hubbard has stepped in to keep the program alive and I am more then honored to work with the Carrabassett Valley Academy from Maine once again. These might be the luckiest kids in America, and I am stoked to learn from them for the next 2 weeks. Im even more stoked to see the next generation getting educated decades before most of the people in my generation decided to get their educations.
