Marc Clarkin nominated me to tell which 10 LPs influenced me the most in my life; Although I am mainly a vinyl 45 guy , I do have a few FAVE vinyl LPs I will NEVER sell. Welcome to my passion: 1. THE SONICS: Boom (Best US Garage LP Ever) 1966 2. THIRTEENTH FLOOR ELEVATORS : Psychedelic Sounds (Best US Psych Garage LP Ever) 1966 3. THE MC5: Kick Out the Jams Elecktra 1969 (To see this band live back in the day...whoa!!!!) 4. The RUBBLE Compilation series! ( Before the Nuggets UK/World ever appeared, this was the guiding light series for people interested in learning about UK/Euro/World Garage/Psych/Freakbeat acts! Mindblowing stuff! Search Bam Caruso or Past / Present for deets! You wont ever regret it! 5. UGLY THINGS! Both the magazine but also the Aussie/ NZ compilation series that featured rare 60s psych garage freak tracks from that part of the world. Life changing really! (Raven-Aus) 6.JOHNNY THUNDERS & THE HEARTBREAKERS: Live at Maxs Kansas City. (Love the dolls but love heartbreakers more....always!) 7. THE DEAD BOYS : Young Loud & Snotty (Sire 77) Classic American Snotty Punk 8. THE SAINTS : Im Stranded (Sire 1977 contemps & influenced by the Ramones, Dead Boys & Stooges... 9. THE SPITS: (2002 to Present) Best Punk / New Wave Band from recent times who make me feel like I am back in middle school in the early punk era. Retarded New Wave Time Machine Anthems! 10. THE RAMONES! They wrote tunes so you could enjoy your weekend dancing, drinking & being stupid! Who doesnt need that! NO LP in particular! Puleez!
