March-21-2014 Time-9.00 A.M AAP News & Update---- Will Supreme Court of India & Election Commission of India quickly comes in to Action & Intervene on the Issue of Raising Gas Prices by UPA Govt. at the Centre, in the Month of April -2014 , to prevent violation of Election Model Code of Conduct & to conduct fair & Transparent Lok Sabha Elections -2014 , in the interest of the Country.------ UPA Govt. at the Centre is going to increase Gas Prices , rather doubling the Gas Prices , in the country in the month of April-2014 , which will be a direct & Clear violation of Election Model code of Conduct & will further put a financial Burden on the Common Man of this Country, as it is directly aimed at providing huge financial benefits to Reliance Industries Limited , which seems to be Corrupt Strategy / Practices adopted by the UPA , during the time of Elections. The central government has decided to increase the price of natural gas from April 1, 2014 , from the existing $ 4.2 per mmbtu (One million British Thermal Unit) to $ 8.4. It is estimated that the government decision is likely to cost the country Rs 54,500 crore every year and it must be probed by the EC , how much money has been provided by the RIL to the Congress and other Political Parties, for spending in the Elections of 2014.. It has already been reported in the media that the Planning Commssion Deputy Chairperson, Mr Montek Singh Ahluwalia on March 11, 2014, told the government, that it must seek the Election Commission’s approval , before announcing and implementing the new prices. The central government’s decision will have an adverse impact on the lives of common people since it will lead to increase in fuel costs and transportation. In addition, prices of fertilizers will also go up, which will make all essential commodities costly. The report of the Comptroller and Auditor General (C&AG) , which was tabled in parliament on September 7, 2011, had questioned the government’s handling of the entire issue. An FIR was registered by the Anti Corruption Wing of the Delhi government on February 11, 2014, for the alleged collusion between some ministers of the central government and the RIL in raising the gas prices in an unjustified manner. The matter is already Pending in the Supreme Court of India. Will SC comes into action quickly in this matter , as this is the right time to intervene & directs the UPA Govt. at the Centre to put on hold/suspend such Anti-people Decisions, till the Lok Sabha Elections-2014 in the Country gets Completed, so as to Conduct Fair & Transparent General Elections-2014.
