March 26, 2014~Luke 22:47-53 Christ’s battle is not against people. He could have stopped His death in the blink of an eye, but His death for our sins was the very reason He came. Swords and clubs would have been of little effect had Christ wanted to go against them. Christ willingly gave His life when the hour had come. He came to this hour so I could have a personal relationship with Him. As I enter God’s presence every morning in prayer and throughout the day, I do it with a thankful heart knowing I am only able to do so because Christ took the punishment for my sins and I stand righteous before God because of Christ’s shed blood covering my sins. Wow, what a Savior!!!
