Marcus C. Sigmon, Barbara Guettler, Jen Bruno-Krip and all of my friends in the Fort/Port/Vero are...please join us today and show some love for the Aaron Project! #vanduzerlove♥ #beauchamplove♥ #fortlife♥ On his way home from school in March 2012, nine year-old Aaron Beauchamp was killed in a school bus accident. Since the moment they got the news, the Beauchamp family has been committed to celebrating Aaron’s memory and helping to improve the lives of others even though Aaron’s own life was so tragically cut short. In an effort to honor the memory of Aaron, who excelled in academics, athletics, and the visual arts, the Beauchamp family created the Aaron Project – a family fund designed to recognize well-rounded St. Lucie County students with an annual scholarship, awards for academics, athleticism, and leadership, and provide funding for an annual grant to a St. Lucie County teacher who incorporates visual arts into his or her curriculum. Though Aaron was only with us for nine short years, his family is determined that his memory and legacy live on in the hearts and lives of others who live with the same enthusiasm and energy as this beloved young boy.
